And while I was looking to the lighthouse in the infinity peer, an angel exploded right in front of me. Thousands of feathers flew towards the coast, and covered the earth. They were streaked with glowing blood, and in each of them a message:
"Even while looking from above, this is too much to handle."
Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn’t it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life…You give them a piece of you. They didn’t ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn’t your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like ‘maybe we should be just friends’ turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It’s a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.
In recent days, I realize how much more this blog of mine is becoming more dedicated to electronic music. And you know what? That’s okay, since too many people are under the impression of the “uhn-tiss uhn-tiss uhn-tiss”-partyboying idea of stereotypical techno.
…Aw, who am I kidding? Yeah, it’s like that. With more laser lights and glowsticks and shit, yo.
But as far as things are concerned, I’ll still be posting a lot of music on here… A LOT of it…
Also beat Portal 2 a couple of days ago. Ending was AMAAAAAAAZINGGGGGRRRAPBBBHHPPLABL. Still gotta feel somewhat sorry for Wheatley. However, I’m open to co-op, so hit me up on Steam: captaincouch is the name.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent has supposedly been one of the most disturbing PC games since Doom 3 and the F.E.A.R. series. I had downloaded it before for a trial basis, but didn’t get too far. Granted, however, it did look nice, and with Steam selling all these games in the Potato Sack collection of games for highly slashed prices in order to get players to release Portal 2 sooner, I figured that I may as well get it while it was 50% off if I was going to get it anyway.
No idea if I’ll actually find it freaky or not; I wasn’t all too scared by Doom 3, but then again, I had a shotgun to back myself up with. Amnesia doesn’t allow you to use much of any weapon, if you could call any item in that game a weapon. You are practically defenseless against whatever horrors you may face, which will hopefully get the adrenaline flowing. Even if it’s not all that terrifying, I’ll probably still enjoy it. I do enjoy a good puzzle game.
Now we just have to wait for Portal 2… GAH.
If you have Steam and feel like playing co-op for Portal 2, or any other games for that matter, feel free to add me: ThatGuyWithTheGasMask
